These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between A Well Kneaded Massage (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and any individual receiving services (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).

By booking or receiving services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

The Company provides professional therapeutic massage and bodywork services intended to support relaxation, pain relief, injury recovery, and overall wellness.

Purpose of Services

The Company provides therapeutic massage and bodywork services designed to help clients:

- Reduce muscular tension

- Improve mobility and flexibility

- Support injury recovery

- Promote relaxation and overall wellness

Massage therapy services are intended for therapeutic and wellness purposes only.

These services do not constitute:

- Medical diagnosis

- Medical treatment

- Physical therapy

- Psychological counseling

- Any licensed medical advisory service

Clients are responsible for seeking appropriate medical care from qualified healthcare providers when necessary.

Scope of Services

Services may include but are not limited to:

- Therapeutic massage

- Treatment-focused massage

- Injury support bodywork

- Muscle tension relief

- Wellness-focused massage sessions

All services are provided in person at scheduled appointments.

Specific services and session details will be defined at the time of booking.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

- Provide accurate and complete health information

- Inform the therapist of any injuries, medical conditions, or medications

- Notify the therapist immediately if discomfort occurs during a session

- Communicate any changes in health conditions prior to future sessions

Treatment results may vary depending on individual health conditions and participation in care.

Fees and Payment

Service fees will be communicated at the time of booking or appointment.

Payment may be required:

- At the time of booking

- At the time of service

- Through pre-paid packages when applicable

Failure to make payment may result in:

- Cancellation of appointments

- Refusal of future bookings

Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable once services have been rendered.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

If less than 24 hours notice is provided:

- The session may be forfeited

- The client may still be responsible for the full session fee

Repeated cancellations or late arrivals may result in refusal of future appointments.

Confidentiality

Client health information and discussions during treatment will be kept confidential.

Information will not be disclosed except:

- With client permission

- When required by law

- When necessary to prevent harm

Communications

Clients receiving text messages from A Well Kneaded Massage must be at least 18 years or older.

Description of SMS program and messaging use cases:
- Transactional text messages from A Well Kneaded Massage at the phone number provided. 

- Marketing and promotional messages including special offers, discounts, new product updates among others from A Well Kneaded Massage at the phone number provided.

Clients can text "STOP" to opt out of A Well Kneaded Massage all client communications.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No Guarantee of Results

The Company does not guarantee specific results from massage therapy or bodywork.

Outcomes vary depending on:

- Individual health conditions

- Frequency of treatment

- Client lifestyle and self-care

- Body response to therapy

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A Well Kneaded Massage shall not be liable for:

- Indirect damages

- Health outcomes outside the therapist’s professional scope

- Decisions made by the client regarding their health care

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the service.

Refusal or Termination of Services

The therapist reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if:

- Payment obligations are not met

- Client behavior is inappropriate or unsafe

- The client violates these Terms

- Medical contraindications are present

- The client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Massage and Bodywork Client Agreement

By receiving massage or bodywork services, the Client agrees to the following:

Minor Policy

Any client under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present in the treatment room for the entire session.

Purpose of Treatment

The massage/bodywork received is for the purpose of relaxation and relief of muscular tension.

If any pain or discomfort occurs during the session, the Client agrees to immediately inform the therapist so pressure or techniques can be adjusted.

Health Disclosure

The Client affirms that they:

Have disclosed all known medical conditions

Have answered health intake questions honestly

Do not have any conditions for which massage or bodywork is contraindicated

Medical Disclaimer

The therapist:

- Does not diagnose illness or disorders

- Does not prescribe medical treatment

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed healthcare provider.

Clients with medical concerns should seek care from a qualified medical professional.

Professional Boundaries and Draping

Massage treatment does not involve touching or manipulation of genitalia or breasts.

Proper draping will be used at all times. The Client's genitalia and breasts (if female) will remain covered throughout the session.

Conduct Policy

The therapist reserves the right to refuse or terminate treatment if a client exhibits:

- Inappropriate behavior

- Sexual remarks or conduct

- Illicit or suggestive comments

- Abusive or threatening behavior

- Intoxication from alcohol or drugs

- Repeated tardiness or cancellations

Sexual actions, references, or offensive language will not be tolerated.

If such behavior occurs:

- The session will end immediately

- The client will still be responsible for full payment

Mutual Communication

If the therapist is not acting in alignment with these expectations, the client agrees to communicate concerns immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Entire Agreement

These Terms represent the entire agreement between the therapist and the client and replace any prior discussions or agreements.

Acceptance

By receiving massage services, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
